I knew something would go wrong, but I didn't think it could be this bad :P
It turns out that I can't use linux/windows virtualized (simulated) on MacOSX because then the keyboard behaviour in Java is different than the native one. And as my job is all about this (right now) it makes no sense to work on a fake behaviour. Now I have to install Linux side-by-side with MacOSX. That counts like I'm working, right?

Got a job!
Demà torno a treballar.
Després tot serà bufar i compilar. O no.
Tomorrow I'll start working again. After 2 months of incertitude, my boss finally made me a serious proposal to keep on with his Ulteo project. As I'll be quite busy with the latest subjects at college, I'll do spare hours - 15 to 20 per week - and get paid as an independent French worker. That's just more than I can count with my fingers.
By now, I have already prepared my MacPea - you won't probably get it - with Ubuntu and all the necessary programs to work. Tomorrow, of course, I'll realize I need another one which is just indispensable. We'll see if I stand more than a month, and if I can keep with the diabolic college rhythm without a considerable productivity loss. After that, it will all be peace of Java. Or not.

Viaggio inaspettato
This weekend Rosie and I went to Rome to celebrate the 3 years we've been together =) It was a short and unexpected trip but we made the most out of it. It was the first time I visited the city and I must admit it was a pleasant discovery. I imagined it would be dirty and run-down; I found a modern European capital, properly tidied and equipped. However, the essence of the past is everywhere. Modern buildings stand unnoticed, and a nice harmony is achieved.
The best part of the weekend was Rosie's idea of renting a scooter. It was so funny to go from one place to the other, trembling because of the cobble stone roads and taking pictures non-stop.
Definitivament, Roma enamora.
Definitely, Rome is a city that easily stoles your heart.
PS: You can find the whole story at Rosie's blog.
